43 Folders syncs your data to a file called 43folders-data.json in your Google Drive. Sign in once and your tasks follow you everywhere.
This version saves all your data to a file called 43folders-data.json in your Google Drive. Changes sync automatically a few seconds after you make them. You can open this app on any device and sign in with the same Google account to access your tasks.
To sign out, click the Sign out button in the top bar. Your data remains safely in Google Drive.
Click Export in the top bar to download a JSON backup of your current data. This is the same format used by the localStorage version, so you can move data between the two freely.
To import a backup, triple-click the 43 Folders title in the top-left corner. You must be signed in first. The imported data will immediately be saved to your Drive file, replacing whatever was there.
43 Folders is a classic productivity system: 31 day folders and 12 month folders. Assign recurring tasks to the right folder, and each day you only look at today's folder. Tasks that repeat monthly or yearly reset automatically when the day or month advances.
Open any month folder and click to Day next to a task. Enter a day number and it moves there. When you mark it done and advance past that day, it returns to the month folder automatically for next year.
Rotate your screen to landscape to see both day and month folders side by side. In portrait only the day folders are shown.
Data is stored in your personal Google Drive only. Nothing is sent to any third-party server. Only the single 43folders-data.json file is accessed -- nothing else in your Drive is read or modified.
